I have been reading this book called the no-cry sleep solution by Elizabeth Pantley. I first saw this book on a bookstore shelf and wondered if it was any good and then my friend Amy mentioned it to me one day while we were talking and offered to let me borrow hers. Time passed and I forgot the name of it and wasn’t sure who it was that I talked to about it. While I was shopping in a consignment store I saw the book and I remembered it. I picked it up and it was only 2 dollars so I went ahead and got it. After I talked to my friend it was the right book. The reason I have chosen to read and try her method of getting my Butterfly to sleep better at night is a long story that I plan on sharing later. This book, in my opinion, gives very gentle and loving ways to help my little baby sleep through the night… I hope anyway :0). It is not a quick and easy solution like others, such as Babywise (which I can not recomend) where you let them cry it out. The No cry sleep solution takes time, it is a ten-step plan. I wish it were easy and quick but I am willing to be patient and go through the whole 10 steps if it is going to help my Butterfly sleep better and not to mention me. I am in the begining process of keeping a sleeping log. I am starting today. I decided to share my experience with this to give an account of how and if it works.
I will be doing a nap time log, pre-bedtime log, a nightwaking log and then anwser some sleep questions. I can not wait to see what my results reveal… I will share later tomorrow.
